- Who can apply to Mondriaan Fund: Residency?
- Open to visual artists, curators, art critics, and art observers from the Netherlands or the Caribbean part of the Kingdom who have been working professionally for at least one year. Visual artists must be registered with the Kamer van Koophandel or have studied at a recognized art school for at least three years. Curators and art critics/observers must demonstrate professional activity through publications, exhibitions, or research projects. Applicants must not be students and are expected to contribute 10% of the residency cost.
- What does Mondriaan Fund: Residency offer?
- Grant amounts vary depending on location and duration. The grant covers travel, accommodation, and material costs. Living space, working space, and support are paid directly to the residency by the Mondriaan Fund. Residents are required to pay at least 10% of the sum determined by the Mondriaan Fund for the work period. The grant for residents in the Caribbean part of the Kingdom may be higher to cover travel costs.
