About
The CUSP Artist Residency offers a four-week paid residency in Reykjavík for international artists working with time-based media and emerging technologies. This program, co-funded by Creative Europe, focuses on the preservation and conservation of art using complex technologies like generative AI, custom sensors, sound, software-based works, blockchain, and physical-digital hybrids. Selected artists will be paired with a preservation specialist and will co-design and present an open-lab masterclass. The residency provides accommodation, working space, travel and subsistence stipends, an artist fee, and potential access to hardware and software.
