Crosstown Arts: 2026 Residencies

Crosstown Arts offers residencies in an urban setting for visiting and Memphis-based artists across all creative disciplines. The program provides private studio workspace, lodging (if needed), access to shared art-making facilities, and free entry to various Crosstown Arts events. Residents are asked to participate in limited public engagement activities like informal artist talks and open studio events. Applicants must be 21 years or older, with no specific project requirements, encouraging experimentation and development of new or existing work. Residencies are offered at no cost, though participants are responsible for a $200 refundable deposit, studio materials, and travel expenses.
