2026 Visiting Artist in Residence Dr. Byran Massey Sr. - Woodworking on the Land

This program features Dr. Bryan Winfred Massey, Sr. as the first guest Visiting Artist at Kindred Creative Residence + Agro-ForesT. He will lead a week-long wood carving workshop for artists of all levels. Participants will learn to work with cherry wood logs harvested from the land, focusing on texture, grain, and imperfections. The course includes three plant-based meals and snacks daily. Participants have the opportunity to camp on the land and learn about the connection between art, nature, and creativity. The program is open to artists based anywhere in the world, at any career stage.
